P&Q: What types of support does your career center and alumni provide to MBA students? How have these services and relationships made your graduates more competitive in the marketplace?

Stabile: “INSEAD’s Career Development Centre partners with students and alumni to succeed in finding life-long career fulfilment. It is composed of a global team of experienced career coaches and employer engagement specialists, as well as an events and data team, and is spread across all our three campuses.

Specifically, support consists of coaching, counsel, and connections, including personalised one-to-one Career Coaching, a Career Education Curriculum, and – this is unique among our peers – a dedicated team of Employer Engagement professionals with deep expertise in specific regions and sectors. Working closely with recruiters, they share student profiles and recruitment trends, and are able to provide unique insights and advice.

The Career Development Team welcomes around 260 companies on campus each year and sets up more than 4,000 interviews in our dedicated interview centre. The team also acts as a liaison between student clubs and the student body, and facilitates activities such as treks to different regions to meet with selected companies in person.

INSEAD’s robust global community of currently over 68,000 alumni across nearly 200 countries is extremely supportive of one another – and deeply connected to the school. We invest in lifelong career support for both current students and alumni at each stage of their careers.

For example, iLink – an INSEAD career & mentoring platform, enables students and alumni to harness the power of our community’s collective knowledge to exchange expertise, advice and ideas.
