What achievement are you most proud of in your professional career? I’m fortunate to have the flexibility to reinvent my career as life changes required different things of me, and I’m proud of owning my own CPA firm.

Why did you choose this school’s online MBA program? Flexibility, scholarships, and Jack Welch’s reputation led me to this program.

What was your favorite part of being in an online MBA program? I enjoyed learning at my own pace.

How did your online experience compare with your in-classroom experience as an undergraduate student? I love in-person schooling, but it was not an option for me at this point in my life. The Jack Welch Management Institute (JWMI) has made the online experience personal, interactive, and positive.

What is your best piece of advice to an applicant for thriving in an online MBA program? Discipline! Remember that if it was easy, anyone could do it. Make the short-term sacrifice for the long-term benefit.

How has your online education helped you in your current job? It has taught me how to interpret leadership and processes, and in doing so it’s given me the ability to give substantial input.

Why did you pursue an online MBA program instead of a full-time residential or executive MBA program? My career did not allow a full-time program at this time, so I needed something with flexibility.

What is your ultimate long-term professional goal? To teach!
