In the second half of the year, you will be completing an Academy devoted to areas like Marketing, Finance, Operations, Digital Enterprises and more. Which Academy interests you the most and why? The Consulting Academy most excites me because it plays to my strengths—strategic thinking, people-focused leadership, and staying calm under pressure. As a world-traveling musician, I’ve led teams, adapted on the fly, and built real connections with all kinds of audiences. I see consulting as a natural extension of that: solving problems, communicating clearly, and working closely with others to make real change happen. I’m excited to learn the tools and frameworks to do that at a higher level.

At the beginning of the school year, you will be completing Me, Inc., where you will engage in reflections and exercises to build your personal brand? In one sentence, describe your personal brand and how will it add value to the classmates and future employers? I’m a compassionate, creative leader who builds trust quickly, brings energy to the room, and knows how to turn a vision into action.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Indiana Kelley’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The structured, hands-on career development that begins on day one—especially Me, Inc. and the Academy model—showed me that Kelley isn’t just teaching business theory. It’s preparing students for real, lasting career transformation. As a career-switcher, I knew I needed that level of investment and support.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Indiana Kelley? The Music Industry Club immediately stood out—it’s a way for me to stay connected to my creative roots while also building a bridge between entertainment and business. I’m excited by the opportunity to collaborate with classmates who share a love for music and explore ways to apply business principles to a fast-evolving industry I know intimately.

Looking at your recruitment, what was the moment when you realized Indiana Kelley was the right program for you? Why? During my campus visit, I had the chance to meet Jim Holmen and several members of the admissions team—and something just clicked. I was exploring multiple programs at the time, but the personal warmth, authenticity, and enthusiasm I felt at Kelley stood out immediately. That visit made me feel not just welcomed but genuinely wanted. It was the first time I could truly picture myself belonging in an MBA program, and I left Bloomington energized and excited for what was ahead.
