Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Kenan-Flagler’s MBA curriculum or programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? UNC Kenan-Flagler’s core values – integrity, inclusion, innovation and impact – deeply align with how I strive to lead and live. In speaking with students, I saw how these principles shape a collaborative, globally minded community driven by purpose. That environment is exactly where I want to grow, as a leader who brings care, authenticity and meaningful impact to every space I’m part of.

What are some advantages you’ve seen in earning your MBA in Chapel Hill? Beyond the infectious Tar Heel pride at UNC sporting events, one of the biggest advantages of earning my MBA in Chapel Hill is access to the Research Triangle. With its concentration of cutting-edge companies in technology, health and wellness, the Triangle offers an incredible ecosystem for innovation and career growth. As someone passionate about making a meaningful impact in these industries, being immersed in this dynamic environment is both inspiring and strategic.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Kenan-Flagler? Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work at a company where women are well-represented in leadership. As someone earlier in her professional journey, seeing clear paths for women to advance has been both empowering and motivating. At UNC Kenan-Flagler, I’m excited to continue championing women in business through the Carolina Women in Business Club by building community, amplifying voices and helping shape a more inclusive future.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: At American Express, I was part of the small business marketing team, supporting small business owners with tools and services to fuel their growth. When the company acquired a fintech firm offering innovative financing solutions, my team led the launch of the first marketing campaigns introducing these products to our existing customer base. I played a key role in translating complex offerings into clear, value-driven messaging, helping customers understand how these new solutions could accelerate their business goals.

Describe the best memory of your life so far? Why does that moment resonate with you? My recent trip to Japan with my boyfriend stands out as one of the most meaningful moments of my life. Immersing myself in a culture so different from my own was both humbling and exhilarating. From savoring regional cuisines to exploring centuries-old temples and learning about traditional ways of life, every experience deepened my appreciation for the beauty of cultural exchange. Sharing those discoveries with someone I love made the journey even more special, it was a time of connection, curiosity, joy, and delicious food that continues to resonate with me.

What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)? My goal is to work as a product manager or product marketing manager at a company where technology intersects with my passion for wellness and fitness.
