Meet The Indian School Of Business PGP Class Of 2026

The Indian School of Business Graduates

P&Q: What are two ways that your program is incorporating Artificial Intelligence into your programming? How do they better prepare students for the future world of work?

Mani: “At ISB, our vision is to create leaders who can both build and lead the enterprises of tomorrow. We believe this requires a deep, multi-faceted understanding of AI, which we deliver through a two-pronged strategy in our curriculum.

First, we offer a suite of dedicated courses that focus directly on AI from a strategic business perspective. These are not just technical deep dives but are designed for future executives. Courses such as Generative AI – A New Paradigm and Software Product Management, Artificial Intelligence in Organisations, and Business Applications of AI in Finance bridge the gap between technology and business impact. They cover the full lifecycle – from the fundamental technology and its operational implementation to the nuances of building and monetising AI-powered products. Critically, these courses also tackle the broader strategic questions, including the ethical implications of AI and its transformative effect on the future of work.

Second, we have gone beyond isolated electives and have systematically embedded AI into the very fabric of our core business curriculum. We recognised that AI is not a separate discipline; it is becoming the new foundation of every business function. Whether it’s a core class in Marketing, Operations, or Frontier Technologies, our students are learning how AI is fundamentally reshaping these fields. This ensures that every graduate, regardless of their specialisation and understands how to leverage AI for competitive advantage and operational excellence in their chosen domain.

At ISB, AI skill development is not just about what we teach, but how we teach. We believe true mastery comes from active engagement, not passive learning. Therefore, our primary method for skill development is integrating AI directly into our pedagogies.

Across our curriculum, our faculty actively use AI tools as part of the teaching and learning process. This is a deliberate and strategic choice. In the classroom, we create interventions where students are required to use AI to analyse complex problems, generate strategic alternatives, and enhance their understanding of core concepts. This approach has a powerful dual benefit – students learn the subject matter more effectively, while simultaneously developing a native fluency in using AI tools responsibly and strategically.

This hands-on methodology demystifies AI, turning it from an abstract concept into a practical, everyday tool for problem-solving and innovation. By embedding this practice across the curriculum, we ensure that AI literacy is not an add-on, but a core competency.

Our goal is to cultivate an “AI-native mindset,” equipping our students with the adaptive skills to not only use the tools of today, but to lead the development and deployment of the tools of tomorrow.”

P&Q: What types of educational and career support do you provide to alumni after graduation? How does it make them more valuable to employers during their careers?

Mani: “At ISB, our commitment to student success extends far beyond graduation. Through lifelong learning and career support, we empower alumni to thrive both personally and professionally.

Our Lifelong Learning Services (LLS) provide continuous opportunities in collaboration with ISB’s Centres and Institutes—ranging from exclusive learning events with industry experts to interactive sessions with policymakers, panel discussions, and closed-door dialogues. These initiatives keep alumni connected to cutting-edge insights and thought leadership.

Through ‘Thrive,’ ISB’s peer-to-peer networking and mentoring platform, alumni connect with like-minded professionals worldwide—fostering meaningful networks, mentorship, and collaboration.

Meanwhile, the Career Advancement Services (CAS) team supports alumni with personalised career counselling, curated job opportunities, and global networking events—helping them navigate career transitions, upskill for emerging roles, and grow as leaders.

Together, these initiatives ensure ISB alumni remain future-ready, well-networked, and highly valued by employers across industries.”
