What excites you most about studying in Washington, DC? Washington, D.C. is an amazing environment! I’ve already discovered many new places. JoJo’s Cafe is my favorite so far. Also, D.C. is an international hub where culture, policy, and innovation intersect. It is the perfect setting for building a globally-informed career.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Georgetown McDonough’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Georgetown Africa Business Alliance (GABA) and the Emerging Markets Network (EMN) drew me in. As someone passionate about contributing to the development of financial infrastructure in West Africa, I saw the EMN as an opportunity to learn from peers who are also focused on shaping high-impact solutions in developing economies. I’m also really looking forward to being a part of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital clubs.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Georgetown McDonough? I’m interested in the Venture Fellows Program because it offers hands-on investing experience and exposure to industry contacts. Through Venture Fellows, I also hope to collaborate with other fellows who are looking to extend their portfolios of projects that incorporate agentic technology.

Georgetown McDonough programming focuses heavily on instilling a global mindset. Why is exposure to global diversity so critical to business success? While at Uber Freight, I worked with cross-border logistics teams to understand carrier and shipper pain points with dated transportation management systems, so I’ve seen firsthand how an understanding of global systems gives you an edge. It’s not just about knowing different markets; it’s about recognizing how regulation, infrastructure, and even cultural norms interact to shape user behavior and business outcomes. This mindset has made me a stronger researcher and design strategist.

When you think of Georgetown University, what word comes to mind? Why? Bridge. Georgetown will be the connecting point between the new connections, communities, and ideas that I’ll need to reach my final destination.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Informing the strategy for a zero-to-one product build at Uber Freight. I was part of the team that delivered the first major product launch following the Uber/Transplace merger.

What is your long-term career goal? My goal is to lead a product organization to build platforms that expand access to critical services in West Africa. At the end of my career, I want to be proud of how I spent my life force.
