Description: Looking to understand the dynamics behind technological evolution? In this course, von Stackeberg will walk students through the innovation cycle, including idea origination, proposing, testing, commercializing, and eventually substituting. The course will examine change on two fronts: Its impact on customer expectations and competitive strategy and how the structure and mission of organizations change over the product life cycle. After completing this course, students will understand the factors that drive (and inhibit) innovation so they can successfully navigate technological change. The course will be taught through video lectures, case studies and readings, team activities, and peer-reviewed assignments.

Review: No reviews available.

Additional Note: Technically, the course isn’t free. To complete the course, students must purchase von Stackelberg’s e-book, Technology & the Future: Managing Change and Innovation in the 21st Century for $5.99. It is available at registration.
