I will start by saying that I had leveraged the services of another featured premium consultant before Jennifer, and did not have a fruitful experience. Rather than getting discouraged, I ended up connecting with Jennifer and the difference was astonishing! There are many consultants who have previously worked on admissions committees at top b-schools, and they’ll all share the same necessary information to coach clients on the cookie-cutter approach these schools take to choosing applicants. The difference with Jennifer, and where she truly creates a comparative edge, is all in her attitude. Let’s face it, graduate school applications are an extremely grueling and stressful process. In trying times like those, it is critical to have someone with a positive and encouraging demeanor behind you. Jennifer is extremely supportive and acts like a personal mentor as much as a consultant, which isn’t very common for the industry. Working with someone who viewed me as a hardworking and driven person rather than just an applicant profile statistic was all I needed to tip the scales in my favor.
What a fantastic experience I had with Jennifer and MBA Exchange. At first, I had my reservations. Obviously, it’s a lot of money but as soon as I started this journey with Jennifer I knew right away it would be worth it. I emphasize “journey” because the process allowed me to learn a lot about myself and forced me to really think about why I wanted to do my MBA. I found the whole team very professional and responsive (almost always within 12 hours) which was paramount with my fast-paced schedule and hyper-tight deadlines. Jennifer provided the perfect balance of motivation/coaching/flexibility to accelerate 5 well-built applications in a matter of only weeks. Her expertise and creativity provided the right edge that I believe was needed to allow me to stand out on paper and in the interviews. I also believe the introspective exercise very useful for developing one’s story.
After submitting the applications, I was invited to interview at 3 of 5 of the business schools I applied to and was ultimately admitted at Booth and Kellogg. From the beginning, Booth was my target school and I am very excited to start there in the fall. Seeing what it takes to craft a great application, I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been able to get in without the help of Jennifer and MBA Exchange. so thanks !! Well worth the $$ and Jennifer’s premium fees. I felt that every part of the process, Jennifer went above and beyond. She made herself available, whether it was helping to perfect my resume, brainstorming essay ideas, or even coaching after I got accepted.
In summary, I’m very happy with the services of Jennifer, and the MBA X team. Thanks again!
Jennifer is an excellent consultant who understood my goals and helped me achieve them. I only applied to one school that was my top choice and Jennifer knew what I needed to do to optimize my chances. She was there every step of the way from a beginning consultation all the way to helping me prepare for my interview. She is especially helpful in crafting ideas for essays and telling a story through your application. She is also very quick to respond and always made time if i had a quick question or concern. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for an MBA consultant.
Jennifer is a fantastic consultant, and I HIGHLY recommend her for anyone wishing to apply to a top tier MBA program. She is well worth the investment. Before consulting Jennifer, I was unsure of my “story,” and I would not particularly stand out in a sea of resumes. Jennifer was able to sharpen the focus of my application and bring my highlights to the forefront, resulting in scholarship offers from my top two program choices! She is available around the clock for assistance and responds before you even send her your question. 5.5/5 stars, would be consulted again.
Jennifer was instrumental in helping me develop a narrative around experience and highlight details that made my application stand out. Working with Jennifer was a pleasure and a great learning experience– she is extremely responsive, knows what top business school are looking for, and provides candid feedback on your application’s strengths and weaknesses. I would highly recommend working with Jennifer!
I am really happy that I chose Jennifer to help me with my application. I was apprehensive at first; I had a difficult story to tell with many moving parts and I was worried that I would not be able to look competitive. Jennifer did not waste time, and we openly discussed my strengths and weaknesses, selected top MBA programs together, and worked around the clock to make sure that all my applications were in good order. Jennifer was excellent in pulling my strengths together and then using them to craft a powerful narrative. In addition, she had many great insights into what admissions officers were looking for. (This was eye-opening for me as my initial thoughts were completely misguided) It was a lot of work but in the end, it was all worth it as I got accepted into my dream school, London Business School! Now I cannot wait for the next chapter in my life to begin!
As a young applicant in an over-represented field, Jennifer really helped me tell my story to stand out amongst a sea of super-qualified candidates, all while under a very tight timeline. As a result of working with her, I received multiple offers from M7 schools and will be attending my dream school, Columbia Business School! Jennifer is a dream consultant and I can only hope that others get the privilege and honor of working with her!!!
Working with Jennifer has been great! As a re-applicant, I was worried that my applications would seem similar to the previous year. Jennifer helped me understand and adopt the MBA Exchange’s strategy which immensely increased the strength of my application. Jennifer’s experience in MBA admissions has proven invaluable and allows her to judge each application from the admission committee’s perspective. Furthermore, Jennifer is an absolute pleasure to work with, she is extremely responsive and accommodating, and enjoys making sure that you get into the schools you apply to!
Jennifer has a very straight forward no nonsense approach towards consulting, she wont sugarcoat stuff for you and show you the real picture. Her approach was very strategic and she advised me to work on each part of the application and not just the essays, advice I think that precisely got me into Columbia. She may be a little expensive but she makes each minute count so totally worth it! Highly recommended, specially for Columbia!
With Jennifer’s help, I was accepted to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and Kellogg! For me, it was important to work with a consultant who had experience in MBA admissions. Jennifer’s experience at Columbia proved invaluable and was very transferable across different schools. Her judgement when discussing application strategies and ideas was absolutely terrific and she provided thoughtful and strategic feedback throughout the process. More than anything, Jennifer is an absolute pleasure to work with, is passionate about what she does, and is truly invested in her clients’ success. I would strongly recommend Jennifer to anyone applying to business school!
Jennifer was extremely helpful in preparing and executing my application. She was very attentive to detail and made sure everything was perfect before we sent it out. She has great ideas on how to improve an applicant’s “voice” in an essay. I would highly recommend her.
Jennifer was great. She had a genuine interest in my success and was very helpful when it came to my application. She was patient and understanding, and critical of my essays until they were satisfactory. Her experience as an adcom member was huge and it enabled her to provide insight I wouldn’t have otherwise had. Furthermore, MBA Exchange has great templates and helps prepare you from start to finish. I would and will absolutely recommend Jennifer to any friends and colleagues that plan on applying to B school, especially Columbia.
