Consultant Bio

Born and raised in a small town in South Carolina, I was brought up as a gentleman and a scholar in the Palmetto State. While things tend to move a little slower in the South, my strong work ethic and commitment to a future in business led to a number of great success stories early on in my career and personal life.

I received my bachelor degree from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where I became a triple threat in the business world by majoring in accounting, global supply chain and operations, and marketing. My career in consulting started early through a summer internship in my sophomore year. I liked my summer so much that I came back for another summer before joining full time after graduation. Poof, just like that, I was a strategy consultant.

I have worked on a number of amazing strategy and technology projects that transformed the behind-the-scenes processes and operations of numerous Fortune 500 companies. Some of my most memorable experiences include helping a pharmaceutical company come up with a tool to allocate flu vaccines to everyone in the US and working with a clothing retail company to expand into Canada while optimizing their online strategy. In my free time, I am an advisor for a number of start up firms. A few of them are on their way to hitting it big and I am so proud of their hard work! Working across a number of different industries as well as functions has provided me a wealth of knowledge that I share with my Critical Square clients. Because applicants come from incredibly varied backgrounds and have equally varied career aspirations, I use my experiences to help my clients create unique and memorable applications.

At Critical Square, we don’t have consultant/client relationships with applicants. Instead we treat everyone we work with as partners in developing an incredible highlight reel of personal and professional accomplishments. We are friends, mentors, and confidants for each and every person we work with. It’s just how we do business and it works!

INDUSTRIES I HAVE COVERED: Consumer Goods, Technology, Industrial Products, Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Start-Up

FUNCTIONS YOU CAN ASK ME ABOUT: Consulting, Banking, Finance, Strategy, Business Development, General Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Operations, Entrepreneurship, Brand Management, Product Management, Venture Capital, Merchandising

THIS JOB ROCKS BECAUSE: Every application, every story, every applicant is unique. It’s exciting to work with folks from countless countries, industries, and functions that are all tied together by a common goal – to get their MBA!

I LOVE: CrossFit, fishing, cooking, trails, bacon, military history, innovative start-ups, technology, and college football (Go Gamecocks! and Go Blue!)
