Hi, this is Deepak Punwani from MBA Exchange. Lots to like in your profile. You are taking a traditional industry into the digital sphere and that experience will be really valuable for a lot of firms including consulting giants – MBB. Combine this with your demonstrated interest in sustainability and you become very interesting for adcoms at top schools. Also am getting a sense that you have other diverse interests and fact that you championed the cause of others seeking a visa, makes you a real team player. Am bullish on your chances. Though you have a strong GPA, my advice would be to retake the GRE, and come as close to 80 percentile as you can. This will ensure that you do justice …

Though you have a strong GPA, my advice would be to retake the GRE, and come as close to 80 percentile as you can. This will ensure that you do justice to rest of your profile (which sounds quite impressive to me). If you can accomplish that, you are in play at top all top 10 schools. Good luck
Hi, it’s Nisha from mbaMission. Your experience in mining is impactful, cutting-edge, and distinctive, and I think it’ll help you stand out in the competitive applicant pool. Moreover, the wins you’ve had provide you with valuable experience that the consulting firms would consider an asset. On top of that, I loved how you’re so involved in the community with your dance and rock-climbing teaching (two things I’ve been meaning to take classes in!) and your achievements in dance aside from that. Unbeatable GPA of course, but given your competitive demographic, I think it’ll be important for you to retake the GMAT (and aim for 160s in quant and verbal).

Something to note about Fuqua is that it is HUGE in community engagement, so make sure that you attend as many events as possible (even if virtual) and talk to students and alumni about their experience with the program so that in your app., you can make a very strong case for why it is a fit for you based on its culture and resources within and outside of the classroom. If you do this and achieve a high GRE, I think you’ll be a solid contender for Fuqua. Best of luck!
