Hi Mr. Dual Citizen, Thanks for posting your profile. This is Debbie Choy, GSB alum and Senior Consultant at mbaMission. I’m impressed by your drive – two undergrad programs while holding a full-time job shows incredible work ethic and commitment! In my 8 years of working with candidates, I still don’t see this a lot. These are qualities the Admissions Committee (AdCom) is looking for. Further, be sure to talk about how your unique perspectives growing up in Greece and the US as a dual citizen have shaped you. That said, your GMAT score is below the average at GSB. That could be a concern for AdCom. Consider re-taking the GMAT if that’s a possibility. Hi Mr. Dual Citizen—what wonderful places you have connections to in Greece and France! MBA programs in the US don’t see that many from either place so already you have something special to present. I am doubly impressed that you worked while attending school! I assume you are looking at the deferred admit option? Be sure to show impact in your work—this certainly gives you a heads up from other recent grads who don’t have the same kind of experience that you gained while working and attending school at the same time. I expect you may be able to articulate your why MBA a bit more clearly than many your age. Still—I encourage you to add a few other programs to the mix– consider …

Still—I encourage you to add a few other programs to the mix– consider HBS 2+2, Booth Scholars, Sloan, Yale Silver Scholars, Wharton etc. Your GPA and GMAT combination are not super strengths, so you will need to hit a home run on the rest of the application to have a shot at GSB. I’m rooting for you! Best wishes.
