Hi Mr. Go-Getter, this is Kristen from MBA Prep School. There is definitely a lot to like about your background. Although you’ve stayed in smaller organizations that perhaps lack name recognition, it sounds like that allowed you to take on more responsibility early on. The fact that you report directly to the CEO shows you hold an influential role in the company and based on your “big life wins” you’ve been able to have an impact and lead big initiatives. I can also see how your past experiences align with your career goals, although it will be in your best interest to pick one path and run with it for your applications. You do not want to appear indecisive. Ordinarily I might be concerned with your GPA, but I believe your professional experience should showcase your quant abilities. My bigger concern is your GMAT. Competition is stiff and GMAT scores can be a decision-maker amongst candidates with similar professional backgrounds. If you can bring your score up 10-20 points, you’ll be in a more competitive place. Please feel free to reach out for a complimentary consultation, I’d be happy to chat with you further about how to stand out!
