Born and raised in Honduras. Moved to the east coast for college.

Details:

Undergrad School: Lehigh University

Undergrad Major: Industrial Engineering

GPA: 3.4

GMAT: 730

Age: 26,  Ethnicity: Hispanic or Latino

Other Degree/Certification: Six Sigma Green Belt

School Name: UCLA

Extracurriculars: Theater, Tennis, Meditation

Work History:

Title: Industrial Engineer

Industry: Power / Energy

Company: Boutique Firm

Length of Employment: 3 yrs

Big Life Wins:

I was able to turn around my companies quality control and reduce waste by 50%. I was a shy person before I came to America. But with bravery and perseverance ( I took acting classes and participated in dance performances just to deal with my social anxiety ) I am now a happier, better-rounded individual.

Post MBA Goal:

Due to the lack of opportunities my country loses many of its more prepared individuals. I don’t want to be part of the statistics. I plan to first move to the consulting industry (in the LATAM Region) to maybe one day be able to contribute to the development of my country.
