I am a first generation college student that grew up with an alcoholic, drug addicted single mother and one brother. I was a recruited athlete out of high school while also working after practices throughout to help pay rent for the family. So is your 710 GMAT, which while below the class median at Stanford, is good enough to give admissions the confidence that you’ll have no problem doing the quant work in an MBA program. And your extras show both a desire and a track record of helping others. If I were a student at Stanford, I would want you in my class.
Does top firm mean MBB or does it mean “not actually a top firm”? That makes a difference
