M&A transactions related law practice is a growing industry in India and it seems your work forms the ‘behind the scenes’ for a lot of recent headlines in financial press in India. This means your perspective will be valuable for the schools. Talk about being in right place at right time ! Your academics are solid and love the diverse extra curricular activities. That said, would like to see some more clarity on your short term goals and how they align with your long term goal of starting a fintech company. One would ideally think that joining a growing fintech company in a product / growth role may best prepare you for your long goal. Also PE and VC, while both being investors in private companies and routinely clubbed together, require different skill sets and invest at very different stages as you are aware. Having a story line around which is your first preference will also help if that’s the route you deem best for you. If you can streamline your goals and execute well for each school, you can end up with multiple admits. Lots of tailwind at your disposal. Its up to you to utilize that to go where you want to.
