Hi Mr. Trucking, Impressive credentials in a differentiated industry! This is Debbie Choy from mbaMission. Hi Mr. Trucking, Impressive credentials in a differentiated industry! This is Debbie Choy from mbaMission. I think your achievements and career trajectory since graduating at 19 from college are outstanding. You also come from a function (operations) and industry (trucking) that do not traditionally send a lot of candidates to business schools, so this will help you stand out. By the same token though, you will want to explain clearly why you need an MBA to progress in your career because you are obviously doing great. Your GMAT could be a concern for the Admissions Committee (AdCom), as it is below the average at Cornell. As you are still early in your career, do consider retaking the GMAT to improve your score. If you find yourself hitting a ceiling with the GMAT, look into the GRE. The study material is similar, but some applicants find the GRE test format more suited to their test-taking style. My estimate of your odds is based on applying now with a 640. But if you gain more experience under your belt and improve your test scores, your chances will increase. If you would like to discuss your profile in more detail, feel free to schedule a 1:1 consultation with us. Wishing you the best in your MBA journey!
