At 23 years old I am managing a portfolio of products that does over $100M+ in annual sales, responsible for launch execution and 360 marketing plans. On a personal note, as a gender non-conforming person I see it as a win to have made it this far in the “business world” where there is very little representation from people who look like me.
I am interested in an MBA to gain valuable skills in general management and entrepreneurship. In the short term post-MBA I would either return to a role as a CPG Marketer or try my hand as a Marketing Consultant ideally at MBB. In the long term I would like to become a General Manager/CEO of a fashion, beauty or luxury goods company.

Hi, it’s Nisha with mbaMission! There’s a LOT to like about your profile: very strong academics, a great start to your CPG marketing career, and a track record of meaningful extracurricular leadership. And on top of that, you’re absolutely right about the diversity factor that you bring.
I think that with a well-executed application (including recommendations that attest to your exceptional potential), you’d be in strong contention at a number of top schools – to the list you’ve provided, I’d strongly recommend adding Kellogg and Ross given their exceptional strengths in marketing. The only concern I have is that you’re so early in your career – however, if things don’t work out for you this year, you can always reapply next year without …
I think that with a well-executed application (including recommendations that attest to your exceptional potential), you’d be in strong contention at a number of top schools – to the list you’ve provided, I’d strongly recommend adding Kellogg and Ross given their exceptional strengths in marketing. The only concern I have is that you’re so early in your career – however, if things don’t work out for you this year, you can always reapply next year without penalty, and by then you’ll hopefully have made even more progression at your company. Best of luck to you, and please reach out to me for a free consultation if you’d like to discuss your candidacy in more detail.
Mx. CPG Marketer – Thanks for sharing your profile! Susan here from Stratus.
Congrats on the solid undergrad performance and stellar GMAT! These stats serve as a foundation for strong applications.
Your work experience is incredibly impressive for someone so early in their career. I like that you are able to show impact from the work that you have done.
Stratus has been a partner with Out4Undergrad and I have worked with a number of clients who had leadership roles with the organization. I’m not sure if this is the business organization that you reference. If not, you might see if your company would get involved as a recruiter of LGBTQ+ talent by partnering with O4U. This would give you an opportunity to show continued commitment to …

I really like your odds for Berkeley Haas! I suspect that NYU Stern would be a great fit based on your interest in fashion/luxury but perhaps you are ready to have a break from NYC.

Seems all traffic lights will be green for you !
