About the Program

Warwick’s Global Online MBA is a transformative experience, blending theory and practice together in an online environment that encourages students to challenge assumptions. It’s designed to be flexible, perfect for those looking to step up their business and leadership skills without stepping out of work.

If you’re looking for a truly global experience, you’ve found it. The others in the cohort are from a wide variety of cultures and countries, making for an experience that models what global business truly looks like in the real world.

“While I’ve worked across multiple countries, with many different cultures and languages, working within an online group on this global MBA has truly been the most diverse experience of my career. This is also the reason why I chose the program — the sun never sets on the WBS MBA classroom,” says Dean Wilson, Global Online MBA participant.

The courses include live online teaching sessions as well as group work, and students meet in person during two residential weeks at either the Warwick campus, their WBS London location, The Shard, or at another international location

All-in-all, the program typically spans two years part-time, extendable up to five years.

Their curriculum features eight required modules that give a solid foundation in management, business, and leadership, with social and environmental sustainability integrated across modules.

Modules are delivered online through specially designed lectures, seminars, and group activities. OMBAs can customize their degree with four elective modules, one of which will be face-to-face. They offer three specializations in social and environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, or healthcare.

They offer three specializations in social and environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, or healthcare.

OMBAs undertake either a strategic consulting project, done in groups and focusing on practice in an employment setting, or a traditional dissertation with a more academic focus.

“I love the fact that the WBS MBA gives a rigorous and balanced MBA curriculum, covering a wide range of business-related modules and topics such as finance, marketing, operations, strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership that will stimulate and expose my business acumen,” says OMBA Oladoyin Adelowotan. “These comprehensive modules will give me leverage and a wider view of the business environment and help to progress in my career and broaden my strategic thinking and decisions.”
