Taught in Barcelona, one of Europe’s top digital hubs, EAE Business School’s MBA gives students a broad understanding of all key areas in business while assisting them in developing ever-important technical and soft skills. Aside from the coastal beauty, Barcelona is a capital of culture and attractive for companies who greatly value innovation — which is why EAE and Barcelona complement each other well. And it goes to show: In 2021, PepsiCo chose Barcelona to host their first ever digital Hub in part because of the city’s capacity to generate and retain talent in the digital world. “Our students entrust us with two of their most valuable assets: their time and dedication. It is my obligation as an associate dean and professor to meet and exceed their needs and expectations. Whether that be in terms of creating exceptional international experiences or teaching classes,” says Frank Longo, Associate Dean for Global Programs. EAE has been educating MBAs for some time, graduating their first class in 1968. This year, the program welcomed a large international class of 228 students. The program is just 10 months long, and throughout the academic core the program is designed for professional and personal development intertwined with EAE’s three pillars: Innovation, Technology, and a Growth Mindset. EAE recognizes that many MBAs want to explore the entrepreneurial world, and they have designed four different paths to help prospective MBA’s do just that – the “Pre-Seed,” where students don’t have an idea yet but know they want to become an entrepreneur, the “Seed” phase, where they have an idea that they want to put into action, the “Growth” phase, where they have an existing business that they want to grow, and the “Innovator” phase, where they want to become an in-house innovator at their workplace. As for networking, EAE has corporate engagement opportunities through company challenges and recruiting/propelling programs through events such as Career Talk, Challenges or the Building Leaders program. Other opportunities include workshops and advisory boards as well to help develop their personal skills. Internships are optional and serve as a great way to put learned skills to practice. EAE also partnered with the University of California at Berkeley Extension to develop a unique specialization track in Digital Transformation and Innovation Management that is taught through online learning and a residential module at Berkeley. “With its global overview of business, its multidisciplinary nature, the dedication required and the personal growth it stimulates, this is a program that will change your life,” says program director Aras Keropyan.
