About the Program

The Master of Science in Marketing is a 36-credit hour program that can be completed in as few as 12 months by taking 12 credits per semester for three semesters. Most students take 18-24 months to complete the program. Students can apply with any undergraduate degree from any accredited university—there are no business or marketing course pre-requisites.

These classes are offered on-campus in the evening (many are available online and the entire degree can be completed online) and are especially suitable for students working full-time or part-time jobs. Work or educational experience in marketing is desirable but not required. Students are encouraged to review the UT Dallas Graduate Catalog for the most updated curriculum details

Program Format and Schedule

Students pursuing the Master of Science in Marketing degree program are required to fulfill 15 semester credit hours of core courses and 21 semester credit hours within a specialized rack. Students may choose any of the following tracks as part of their degree program: Advertising and Brand Management, Business Development and Sales, Digital Advertising and Marketing, Marketing Analytics & Customer Insights, Marketing Management, and Product Management.
