Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Being accepted to Sloan!

Looking back on your experience, what one piece of advice would you give to future business school applicants?  The MBA application process is a marathon, not a sprint! Make the appropriate time to connect with past and current students at the school(s) you have an interest in so as to gain a feel for the culture of the community you’re joining.

What was the key factor that led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA and why was it so important to you? I was incredibly fortunate to enjoy my time at Credit Suisse and Ministry of Supply. As such, I was not convinced leaving work to pursue a full-time MBA program was right for me. In meeting with Sloanies before and during the application process, I found the broader MIT community shared my same values. More than anything else, this solidified my desire to attend and is precisely why I’m so grateful to be accepted.

What would success look like to you after your first year of business school? At Sloan, I plan to join the finance track, but have number of different interests I look forward to exploring. After my first year at Sloan, I hope to have rounded out my foundational knowledge via the core semester, started to pursue a Healthcare Certificate, and participated in the Design Club, Sports and Analytics Conference, and Digital Currency Initiative. It’s going to be difficult not to spread myself too thin! I’m excited to get on campus and looking forward to meeting my classmates.
