First year studies at the Mason School of Business are divided into three modules, each composed of core courses. Students begin fostering mentorships in the Leadership Advantage Program. Following a summer internship, the second year places students in the business world. Mason MBAs take part in two Career Acceleration Modules during the fall semester, followed by a Field Consultancy project, and a mixture of core and elective courses in the spring.

As a William and Mary MBA, students have the unique opportunity to remain connected to the business markets as they evolve throughout the program.
