Who came out No. 1? Harvard Business School held out over the competition, nabbing the top spot on three of the six leading MBA rankings, including those published by Poets&Quants (P&Q), U.S. News & World Report, and The Financial Times.

Stanford (P&Q rank: No.2 ) was also well represented among the elite B-schools. The school scored first on Forbes and tied with Harvard at No. 1 on U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 ranking. For the fourth year in a row, Chicago Booth (No. 3) ranked ahead of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School (No. 4) on Poets&Quants’ listing, while Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management finished out the top five.

Internationally, London Business School claimed the No. 1 spot on Poets&Quants’ listing for the third time in four years. INSEAD came in second, while Switzerland’s IMD claimed third place. Two schools in Spain rounded out the top five, with IESE Business School at the University of Navarra in Barcelona fourth and IE Business School in Madrid fifth.
