Description: When companies develop products and strategies, they must account for larger forces in creating value for their customers. Often, their decisions are guided by the proverbial economic tea leaves, which tell them where to best deploy their limited resources. This course, designed for seasoned professionals and requires little math proficiency, applies economics basics to business decisions. In particular, it covers the relationships between economics and hiring decisions, productivity, financial statements, spending, planning, pricing, and competing.
