According to the Financial Times, the crown belongs to HEC Paris, which shimmied past IESE, INSEAD and the London Business School – programs that traditionally vie for the top spot. When it comes to options ranging from international projects to exchanges, the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) made the most progress, going from 81st to 40th. It was closely followed by the Cranfield Business School, which climbed 40 spots in this category to complement its heavy investment in attracting international students and faculty to campus. Across the pond, the University of Illinois produced the biggest gains here with 25 spots. However, American schools feel significantly in this metric, despite repeated rhetoric and investment to the contrary. Overall, 17 of the 20 worst falls in the metric came from American schools, highlighted by Babson College’s epic fall from 4th to 91st in International Course Experience over the past decade (a feat nearly duplicated by the University of Rotterdam: 2nd to 69th).
