Looking back on your experience, what advice would you give to future business school applicants? Do not second-guess your decision about advancing your career with an MBA degree. I had a Ph.D. and an excellent job, but look what I am doing now! Look at your application process as a part-time job. Take advantage of the open-house and webinars by the Broad MBA program. Do your homework! Spend time to figure out what you need to do and when you need to do it. Don’t be the last one to apply! Do excel in GMAT,  but also know that’s not the only criteria. Work on your interview skills!

What led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA? I chose Broad for five reasons:

  • Unique collection of experienced faculty
  • Connection to many fortune 500 corporations for excellent career opportunities
  • Efficient course schedule
  • Extraordinary career management team
  • And last but not least: I have been a Spartan since 2006 and East Lansing has been my home for the past 10 years!

Tell us about your dream job or dream employer at this point in your life? I like to be part of a team in a global pharmaceutical, chemical or a consumer product company that its core value is maximizing positive global impact! It would be an organization which tries to make the world a better place!

I have been part of an excellent team that works on a game-changing agricultural innovation, a project funded by Gates foundation that is aiming to lift thousands if not millions of families from poverty line in different parts of the world. Being part of this project has set my core values for life. I know what I am looking for!

What would you like your business school peers to say about you after you graduate from this program? I like them to say at least one or a combination of the followings: Good friend, easy going, cool, fun and helpful.
