Credentials: Dr. Thomas teaches at the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, A former associate dean and faculty chair at the school, Thomas also provides big data consulting to various government agencies in New Mexico. He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.

Graded: Students can earn a verified certificate, at a $49 cost, for successfully completing the course requirements.

Description: This course provides strategies that startups can use to grow their operation, turn a profit, and gain a competitive advantage.  Teaching through case studies, video lectures, and PowerPoints, Thomas focuses on how businesses can sustain long-term success, including how to measure key indices, differentiate their organization, and manage marketplace disruptions. Most important, students will learn which factors facilitate long-term success. To evaluate students, Thomas will use peer-reviewed writing assignments and quizzes.
