Tenacious. What makes Los Angeles such a great place to earn an MBA? It’s one of the world’s biggest media markets and the heart of the entertainment industry. It’s also a great place for new beginnings. Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of USC Marshall’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Network, network, network. I’ve only been in LA a month and have already made some valuable contacts in the industry I want to pursue. What course, club or activity excites you the most at USC Marshall? Marshall Wine Club. I need to raise my standards. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Managing a team in Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and London by age 25. How did COVID-19 change your perspective on your career and your life in general? Life is too short to spend your time at a job that doesn’t challenge you. There are always reasons to not do something, ignore most of them. What led you to pursue an MBA at this point and what do you hope to do after graduation? It would be to work in the film industry: budgeting, financing or any aspect of the pre-production process. What other MBA programs did you apply to? Columbia, NYU, University of Washington What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into USC Marshall’s MBA program?
