This will help you know which school offers the best opportunities for your purposes and what is the right cultural fit. As I said, Kellogg Leaders are high impact and low ego, which tells a lot about the candidates they search for and the people you will encounter here. Talk to students and alums and observe if that is the culture you believe in. Second, do your homework. Spend time thinking about your best accomplishments, what makes you different from others, and how you plan to achieve your goals. Be as genuine as possible in your application. This will also help you during your recruiting process as a Kellogg student.” Maria Elisa Simas Donato (’24) “I was unabashedly myself. I think many prospective students spend more time than they should trying to tell schools “what they want to hear”. Having spoken with many former, current, and prospective students, I’ve found that each of us has our own unique angle, our own specific motivation, our own “secret sauce” that makes for a good B-school candidate. Stay true to that. I was candid about my own life experiences and, in particular, how my Christian faith plays into my decision to drive change in both the for-profit and non-profit worlds. I think Kellogg appreciated that honesty and authenticity. This school has a special way of looking at the whole person, getting a 360-degree view of their experience to date, bolstering their weaknesses and polishing their strengths to create brave leaders with a passion changing the marketplace and surrounding communities.” Ryan Blackwell (’22) MBA Students Hometown Undergraduate Alma Mater Last Employer Hays Bynum Atlanta, GA Vanderbilt University Kx Advisors April Chung NA University of Minnesota General Mills Katrina Corbosiero Los Angeles, CA Mills College University of East Anglia Joel Francia Manila, Philippines Canisius College Sixth Street Partners Apurva Gorti San Jose, CA University of Texas at Austin Salesforce Tyler Hamilton Rockford, IL Olivet Nazarene University U.S. Army Ryan Mango St. Louis, MO Stanford University U.S. Army Erika Nuñez Queens, NY University of Wisconsin Major League Baseball Sebastian Salomon Dallas, TX University of Texas at Austin Lockheed Martin Max Schwein Charlevoix, MI University of Michigan Deloitte Consulting Maria Elisa Simas Donato Florianópolis, Brazil Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina Spectra Investments Alfredo Zanatti Lizier Lima, Peru Universidad del Pacifico Los Incas Lima Hotel Previous PagePage 4 of 4 1 2 3 4
