What has made it such a great place to earn an MBA? In Barcelona, every weekend feels like a rejuvenating mini vacation, providing the perfect recharge for the challenging week of my MBA program. Alongside my friends, we embark on exciting adventures, exploring charming towns along the Costa Brava or indulging in the vibrant events within the city. Each experience is filled with absolute enjoyment and creates wonderful memories every time. Aside from your classmates and location, what has been your favorite part of Esade Business School’s MBA programming and why has it been so valuable to you? I absolutely love the program’s flexibility! At Esade, I have the freedom to select from a variety of optional courses and LABs, like the Tech CAP, Innovation Lab, and Social Impact Lab. This allows me to explore the subjects that genuinely pique my interest. Additionally, I can personalize the length of my MBA to accommodate my internship and exchange opportunities seamlessly. Overall, Esade has given me the incredible opportunity to pursue everything I aspire to and more! What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Esade? I absolutely loved my time in the Energy and Environment Club! Having an amazing Board made my role as the club president incredibly enjoyable and smooth. Throughout the year, we organized numerous events, which drew impressive turnouts and enthusiastic engagement from the students. Witnessing their genuine enjoyment of the activities we prepared was truly rewarding! Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Prior to pursuing my MBA, I held a position as a design/project engineer at Nissan. I take immense pride in the fact that my work involved enhancing the safety of everyday cars and reducing their CO2 emissions through innovative designs, effective teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far: The in-company team project was a remarkable accomplishment. We collaborated with a football team to develop tangible initiatives for boosting fan engagement and monetization. I am thrilled to witness that the club has already put some of those changes into action! It’s truly satisfying to succeed in a project that has real-life impact and to have the privilege of being one of the presenters. What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? It was definitely all the international-related social events we organized throughout the year! From watching all the World Cup matches, to the Diwali party, to Gastrofest, and then to the Argentinian Asado (and many more events in between), it was always super exciting to spend time with friends celebrating their different cultures. What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into the Esade MBA program? A valuable piece of advice is that it’s perfectly acceptable to apply for an MBA program without having a precise post-MBA plan in mind. While having a general idea is beneficial, this year presents an opportunity to remain open-minded and explore various possibilities. So, it’s absolutely fine not to have a fully developed plan yet, and there’s no need to hesitate about admitting this to the admissions team. Embrace the journey of self-discovery and growth that the MBA experience can offer! DON’T MISS: MEET ESADE BUSINESS SCHOOL’S MBA CLASS OF 2024
