I enjoyed meeting my classmates and working on group projects. What was the most surprising thing about an online learning environment? It was more difficult and time-consuming than I had imagined. How did your online experience compare with your in-the-classroom experience as an undergraduate student? SMU did an excellent job of transitioning the in-class experience to an online experience. The instructors did a great job of engaging the students. What is your best piece of advice to an applicant for thriving in an online MBA program? Create study groups for accountability and support. Ask every question you have because everyone else has the same question but is too afraid to ask. The discussions help everyone. How has your online education helped you in your current job? My online education has helped propel every aspect of how I approach business and has helped to kick-start a new healthcare delivery business. Did you earn a promotion while in the program or immediately after graduation? I received numerous advancements. I want to revolutionize how healthcare is delivered to patients. Pursuing and now receiving my OMBA degree plays a big part in my work to achieve that goal.
