What has been your favorite part of Houston so far? Why? Anywhere there is good food!  The diversity of cultures and restaurants in Houston always leads me to explore new parts.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of the Rice Jones MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I was particularly attracted to the academic reputation of Rice and the world-class faculty from whom I would be learning.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Rice Jones? My favorite course is Competitive and Industry Analysis (everyone calls it Strategy). It involves thinking about how to scale up projects and make them impactful and long-lasting. I also enjoyed PAWS Club and the petting zoo:  because who doesn’t like fluffy animals, especially around exam time?

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Protecting millions of lives through building and implementing the pharmacist-administered immunization program throughout Central Texas with my previous employer.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far?  Gaining the knowledge to figure out what is happening with my investment portfolio.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far?  Finding a community where we support each other in our goals.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into the Rice Jones MBA program? Be yourself; your past experiences and authentic character weave together to make the tapestry of the incoming class even richer.
