The city’s dynamic mix of cultures, industries, and opportunities intersects at LBS, where talented students from around the world bring a variety of experiences. In addition, the proximity of London to some of the world’s leading companies and startups offers networking and career opportunities that are critical to my business school journey.

London Business School is one of the most culturally and professionally diverse MBA programs in the world. How do you see these global perspectives enhancing the value of your business education over the next two years? Having worked primarily in the US, focusing on deploying sustainable financial products, I am eager to interact with peers from around the globe at LBS. The diversity of thought and experience will enhance my understanding of global business practices, allowing me to better address challenges and opportunities in international markets. This global exposure is crucial as I aim to expand the impact of my work to other countries, especially in West Africa, incorporating a range of insights into sustainable development projects.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of London Business School’s MBA curriculum and programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Global Experience course at London Business School was an influential factor in my decision to attend. These week-long, travel-based courses provide hands-on learning in international settings, allowing students to engage directly with different markets and cultures. This is crucial as it aligns with my desire to navigate and thrive in complex international markets, preparing me to lead and innovate in diverse business environments.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at London Business School? I am particularly excited about the Energy & Environment Club at London Business School. Given my background in consulting for companies implementing climate and energy solutions, this club represents a valuable opportunity to connect with other peers interested in advancing affordable, sustainable energy and electricity access for all. Participating in this club will allow me to share insights, learn from others’ experiences, and further deepen my commitment to developing scalable energy innovations.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: A significant career achievement has been my involvement in helping two organizations secure three US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grants in 2024, totaling approximately $2.2 billion for projects that directly impact low-income households. One organization’s EPA grants (two Solar for All awards in Mississippi and Arkansas) will be used to install solar and storage systems on low-income households; each participating household must save 20% on their energy bills. The other organization’s grant (National Clean Investment Fund award) will offer decarbonization financing solutions for single family and multifamily affordable households across the US.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? My unique quality is being able to integrate sustainable solutions within complex regulatory and economic frameworks, particularly in under-served markets. I bring a deep understanding of how to drive change through innovation and technology, while considering the nuanced considerations of energy usage. My background will allow me to contribute realistic, yet innovative, perspectives to the Class of 2026 around how to ensure that energy is accessible for all.
