In the second half of the year, you will be completing an Academy devoted to areas like Marketing, Finance, Operations, Digital Enterprises and more. Which Academy interests you the most and why? I’m very eager to participate in the Consumer Marketing Academy. It takes a deep dive into product and brand management, giving students the opportunity to study consumer behaviors and how things like packaging or advertising can influence purchasing decisions. The psychology components of this academy pique my interest and, with my background in sales, I believe it will give me a strong foundation to successfully pivot into a product management role.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Indiana Kelley’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? A full time MBA is a huge commitment, so I was looking for a program that would invest in me as much as I plan to invest in it. Kelley has dedicated itself to setting its students up for success through robust professional development (Me Inc. and Graduate Career Services) and experiential learning (Academies).  When speaking with current students, it was clear that Academy projects directly prepared you for the work you would perform during your summer internship. I loved that I’d receive hands-on experience that would directly correlate to my success in the workplace.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Indiana Kelley? I am most excited to join the Golf Club. It’ll be a nice way to connect with other students and get outside. A golf course can also be a great place to do business, so it won’t hurt to up my golf game!

Looking at your recruitment, what was the moment when you realized Indiana Kelley was the right program for you? Why? I realized Kelley was the right program for me when I visited campus for an in-person tour. I had the chance to speak with students, professors, and admissions. I was enthralled by everyone’s passion and genuineness. The students who gave me an individual tour were already briefed on my goals, spoke to the programs and clubs I mentioned I was interested in on my application, and made me feel right at home. To put it simply, Kelley left an impression on me because of the effort they made to understand my unique ambitions.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment in my career thus far is successfully managing three different sales territories while running my company’s internship and mentorship programs. I proved that I could multitask and inspire and lead others, while still meeting my sales quota.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? Why? A unique quality that will enable me to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026 is my joy. I’m a firm believer that positivity and happiness are contagious, and those emotions will help myself and my class improve our productivity, build strong relationships, and cultivate an inclusive and creative environment that makes others feel safe.
