INSEAD is one of the most culturally and professionally diverse MBA programs in the world. How do you see these global perspectives enhancing the value of your business education over the next year? Growing up in Ghana instilled in me a deep appreciation for community and cultural heritage, while my educational journey broadened my horizons and deepened my connection to my roots. As I embark on my INSEAD journey, I am eager to immerse myself in a diverse and enriching environment where each conversation, whether in class or over coffee, offers a microcosm of the world. The highly interactive nature of the INSEAD MBA, with its emphasis on class participation and diverse perspectives, promises to be a transformative experience. I look forward to delving into global markets, tackling diverse business challenges, and crafting innovative solutions with peers from all over the globe.

INSEAD represents not just an opportunity to earn an MBA, but a chance to explore global business landscapes and form lifelong friendships with individuals from nearly 50 countries. These relationships will transcend professional networks, enriching my personal and professional life. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of my classmates will allow us to learn from each other and generate ideas that cross cultural and professional boundaries. This experience will enhance my global perspective and further define my place in a diverse world, making the INSEAD journey a truly unique and enriching chapter in my life.

Why did you choose a one-year program over a two-year program? How do you see an INSEAD MBA giving you an advantage in the marketplace? I chose a one-year program over a two-year program for several reasons. First, the accelerated format of a one-year program allows me to return to the workforce more quickly, minimizing my time away from professional opportunities and reducing the overall cost of education. The intensive nature of a one-year program also means that I will be fully immersed in a rigorous learning environment, fostering a high level of focus and dedication.

An INSEAD MBA provides a distinct advantage in the marketplace due to its global reputation and the diverse, international network it offers. INSEAD’s emphasis on cultural diversity and global business practices equips me with a unique perspective that is highly valued in today’s interconnected world. The program’s strong focus on practical, real-world applications and case studies ensures that I am not only learning theoretical concepts, but also developing the skills to apply them effectively in various business contexts. Additionally, INSEAD’s extensive alumni network and strong connections with leading global companies offer unparalleled career opportunities and resources. This combination of a fast-paced, high-quality education and a robust global network positions me to stand out in the competitive marketplace and excel in my future career endeavors.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of INSEAD’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Aside from my classmates, the key part of INSEAD’s MBA programming that led me to choose this business school is its strong emphasis on international exposure and global business education. INSEAD’s unique multi-campus structure, with locations in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, provides firsthand experience in diverse business environments, which is crucial for understanding global markets and developing an international business perspective. This international exposure aligns perfectly with my goals, offering a practical and immersive learning experience that broadens my horizons and equips me with the skills to navigate and succeed in diverse markets. INSEAD’s commitment to global exposure ensures I will graduate with a well-rounded, globally relevant education that will set me apart in the marketplace.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at INSEAD? The course, club, or activity that excites me the most at INSEAD is a tie between the Golf Club and the Global Leadership Club. The Golf Club offers a unique way to network and build relationships in a relaxed yet competitive environment, allowing me to connect with classmates and professionals who share a similar interest in golf. It also aligns with my love for travel and creating enjoyable memories. On the other hand, the Global Leadership Club embodies INSEAD’s motto of “business for good” and provides an invaluable opportunity to interact with distinguished global leaders. Through the Global Leader Series, I can learn directly from those who have made significant impacts in business, social change, and personal development. This exposure to high achievers who have demonstrated their ability to build businesses and lead global corporations will be instrumental in shaping my leadership skills and broadening my understanding of global business dynamics. Both clubs offer unique and enriching experiences that will contribute significantly to my personal and professional growth at INSEAD.
