Personal and professional development is one of the cornerstones of the Rotman MBA experience. What have you learned about yourself so far and what do you hope to achieve? Through the Rotman MBA, I’ve thrived in environments that challenge me to think critically and adapt quickly. I’ve gained confidence in my leadership, especially in managing diverse teams. Moving forward, my goal is to refine my strategic thinking and connect with professionals who are passionate about social impact and innovation.

What has been your favorite part of Toronto so far? Why? Growing up in Toronto, I often take for granted the incredible food scene, from the best restaurants and fresh farmer’s markets to hidden cafes and food trucks. Toronto’s food scene is unlike any other, offering authentic flavours from around the world.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the one key part of Toronto Rotman’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Self-Development Lab (SDL) was one of the key elements of the Rotman curriculum that drew me to the program. Through timely, constructive feedback from live, interactive activities, I’ve been able to enhance my presentation skills and assess the effectiveness of my influence in decision-making.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Toronto Rotman? The Women in Management Association (WIMA) is by far my favorite club at Rotman. Through networking, industry panels, and social events, WIMA has offered me a valuable platform to connect with peers and professionals, while also enhancing my business toolkit.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest career accomplishment so far has been applying for and being considered for professional engineering status. Engineering has been a foundational part of my career, and I’m excited to reach this milestone as I continue to progress in my professional journey.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? My biggest personal accomplishment so far has been winning first place in a case competition hosted by Guidehouse, where we tackled the challenge of the growing energy demand of data centers. I’m very excited to continue to compete and grow my problem-solving toolkit.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? My MBA experience at Rotman has been filled with analyzing case studies, competing in case competitions, and attending numerous industry nights. My favorite moments at Rotman have been the opportunities to connect with my cohort, whether through class discussions or social events. These interactions have allowed me to build meaningful relationships and learn from the unique experiences each person brings to the table.
