What achievements are you most proud of in your professional career? My promotions to chief of radiology at LIJ Forest Hills Hospital and director of prostate imaging for the imaging service line at Northwell Health. I am proud that all the hard work I put into my profession is recognized by my leaders and happy to have the opportunity to be in a leadership role.

Why did you choose this school’s online MBA program? I was looking for a well-respected online program that would fit in with my work schedule.

What was your favorite part of being in an online MBA program? It was being able to work on my own schedule without having to worry about commuting to classes.

How did your online experience compare with your in-the-classroom experience as an undergraduate student? I missed the in-person relationships that I developed with my professors and classmates, but don’t think I could have handled a full time in class experience while balancing work and family.

What is your best piece of advice to an applicant for thriving in an online MBA program? Even though you work on your own time more than with in-person classes, it’s important not to fall behind in your studies.

How has your online education helped you in your current job? My education has given me a different way of thinking about things.  I have spent the last 20 years only studying science and medicine. My education has helped give me a different way to think about and deal with problems.

Did you earn a promotion while in the program or immediately after graduation? No.

Why did you pursue an online MBA program instead of a full-time residential or executive MBA program? I had limited time to pursue an MBA while continuing to work and having responsibilities at home.

What is one way that your business school has integrated AI into your programming? What insights did you gain from using AI? Not applicable.

What is your ultimate long-term professional goal? I hope to further my administrative growth in Northwell Health.
