What makes Atlanta such a great place to earn an MBA? Atlanta is a cultural and creative capital on the rise. With a booming film industry, startup scene, and deep Black business ecosystem, it’s the perfect backdrop for me to scale a media venture that’s rooted in storytelling and entrepreneurship.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Emory Goizueta’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I want to build a company that invests in diverse creators, and Goizueta is a top MBA program with a student-run fund dedicated to minority entrepreneurs. That kind of intentional investment creates the future I want to be a part.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Emory Goizueta? I’m excited for the Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club. I want to sharpen my business building skills while forming relationships with investors and founders. It’s also a space where I can test and scale ideas for “The Kid Media” alongside peers passionate about venture.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I’m currently writing a feature film with FOX – my first studio feature credit as a sole writer. It’s the culmination of years working in the film industry and finally seeing my voice centered at the highest level.

Looking ahead two years, what would make your Emory MBA experience a success? Success means graduating with capital for my business, a sharpened operator’s mindset, and a network of investors, creatives, and mentors who will help me scale a multicultural media company that shapes culture and expands economic opportunity for underrepresented creators and communities. It also means cultivating meaningful relationships with my Goizueta family and giving back to Atlanta’s vibrant community.
