Meet The HEC Paris MBA Class Of 2027

MBA Graduation

P&Q: What are two ways that your program is incorporating Artificial Intelligence into your programming? How do they better prepare students for the future world of work?

Harris: “AI is already reshaping industries and it’s transforming how we teach business, too. We’re leaning into that challenge to make sure our MBAs are ready to lead in the AI era.

To start, we’ve overhauled our core curriculum to embrace AI, not just as a tool students use in projects and cases, but as a reality they must navigate as future leaders. We’ve also launched our Leading for Impact colloquium series, which brings pioneering voices to campus to tackle AI, tech, and innovation through the lens of responsible leadership.

Second, we’ve reimagined the customized phase of our program to give students multiple ways to dive deep. They can deepen their knowledge of Deep Tech and AI, explore innovative AI ventures through our entrepreneurship track and the Creative Destruction Lab, or choose from electives like From Algorithms to Ethics: Managing AI Responsibly or Leading with AI: Generating Value through Systems Leadership.

All of this is intended to prepare our graduates for AI applications today, of course, but also to give them the mindset and skills to adapt to whatever comes next. The content of today will not be the same as tomorrow, so we’re looking beyond AI toward the currencies that will endure: critical thinking, adaptability, resiliency, and leadership.”

P&Q: What types of educational and career support do you provide to alumni after graduation? How does it make them more valuable to employers during their careers?

Harris: “To borrow from an old Nike tagline, “There is no finish line.”

At HEC Paris, career support doesn’t end at graduation. While they’re in the MBA and until 6 months after, our students benefit from extensive career readiness training, one-to-one coaching, and personalized support from HEC Talents, our Career Center, that helps them clarify goals and connect with top employers and alumni worldwide.

After graduation, our alumni stay connected through our active global network and benefit from services designed to help them keep growing. They can access dedicated support through group workshops, coaching, mentoring, conferences, and job boards. Alumni also have opportunities to re-engage with HEC’s world-class programming through executive education, events, and thought leadership.

The result is that our graduates stay ahead of industry shifts, keep building meaningful connections, and bring even more value to their employers and communities as they advance in their careers.”
