What has been your favorite part of Nashville so far? Why? Exploring Nashville one neighborhood at a time. Each area has its own personality, and it makes the city feel multidimensional. Some of my favorites are Sylvan Park, East Nashville, and The Nations!

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Vanderbilt Owen’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Academic rigor paired with a small discussion-focused classroom environment. I chose Owen because I wanted to be challenged in a setting where participation is expected.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Vanderbilt Owen? Owen Finance Club has been central to my experience. The Finance Symposium in August was a great entry point soon after we started school. Hearing from alumni and bankers made the path into finance feel tangible for us. Now, as OFC Head of External Affairs and Events, I’m excited to build on that foundation to strengthen alumni participation and elevate the Symposium as a flagship event for both students and industry leaders.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Going 1/1 on a new business advertising pitch was a real team accomplishment. It was a major “Mad Men” moment for me. We aligned on a clear strategy and delivered work that resonated.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? Receiving my investment banking internship offer. The first semester required discipline, weekly sessions with Finance Club to strengthen our development, and alumni who were genuinely invested in our success. The combination of structure and support pushed me and I’m excited to contribute to support 1Y candidates next year.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? Too many to count! Closing Bell on Thursdays, Lunchtime Speaker Series, basketball games and tailgates (great year to be at Vandy), and just spending time with my class (probably at Blanco) outside of everything else.
