What makes Atlanta such a great place to earn an MBA? Atlanta is an amazing place to earn an MBA because it combines professional opportunity with a rich cultural experience. The city provides easy access to some of the world’s leading companies across various industries, creating countless opportunities for learning, networking, and career growth. Beyond that, Atlanta’s vibrant culture and strong network of colleges and universities cultivate an environment where students can build meaningful relationships and fully immerse themselves in all the city has to offer.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Emory Goizueta’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? As someone who learns best by doing and values experiences, I believe access to high-quality experiential learning opportunities is an important component of a well-rounded MBA experience. Goizueta has done a phenomenal job of building experiences that foster learning and development outside the classroom, such as the Global Experiential Modules and the Growth Cup. I believe the structure of Goizueta’s program will give me the opportunity to take classroom concepts and refine them through real-world applications.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Emory Goizueta? I am most excited to get involved with Goizueta’s Marketing Association. Marketing has been a consistent thread throughout both my academic and professional journey, from serving as Chief Marketing Officer for the Morehouse Business Association during my undergraduate years to building employer branding initiatives at Pfizer. I look forward to connecting with classmates who share a passion for storytelling and strategy, exchanging ideas, and contributing my own perspective and experience.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Prior to attending Goizueta, my most notable accomplishment at Pfizer was leading the launch and growth strategy of our Colleague Ambassador Program. Only one year from its inception, I was able to manage a global network of more than 800 colleagues, leveraging that collective advocacy to strengthen Pfizer’s employer value proposition and empower colleagues to enhance their online presence and develop a more cohesive personal brand.

Looking forward to two years, what would make your Emory MBA experience a success? Looking ahead two years, I would consider my Emory MBA experience a success if I leave with a wealth of meaningful experiences and lasting relationships. I hope to take full advantage of every opportunity to learn, gain new perspectives, and challenge myself both inside and outside the classroom. Most importantly, I want to look back on my time at Goizueta and reflect on the things I was able to do, the places I was able to see, and the connections I built with classmates who become lifelong friends, collaborators, and supporters wherever our careers take us.
