Laura’s guidance while applying for full-time MBA programs was invaluable. She worked with me on the QuestBridge MBA Graduate School Match application as well as other applications directly to schools, resulting in my admission to a top 10 MBA program!

I was drawn to Laura originally due to our shared experiences in the film/ tv industry. I felt she would understand my work background and help me to articulate it to adcoms, and I was right! I’m not sure my application would have been as clear or as strong if I had worked with a consultant without firsthand experience in my non-traditional, complicated, and specific field. Laura was also very understanding that my work schedule was hectic/ shifted often, as she knew how film/ tv is.

The QuestBridge application was very involved, and Laura spent a lot of time helping me figure out how I wanted to craft my narrative in that application. She was a great listener and often pointed out moments and stories that she felt deserved to be highlighted based on the impact I had or how it shaped my career and who I am.
I was very long-winded in my first essay drafts, and Laura was great at helping me find the story I wanted to tell and making sure it was clear. She also was down to help me when I decided to completely rewrite one of my big essays a week before the deadline–very scary for both of us but we trusted each other and a great essay came out of it!

I also could not have done well in the interview without our prep sessions for it. She was patient and offered great feedback when I felt stuck in during our mock interviews.

I would highly recommend Laura to MBA applicants, especially ones coming from the film/ tv industry and/or applying via QuestBridge, due to her firsthand knowledge of that application. I also felt like Laura cared about me as a human being, not just as a client, which made the process that much better.

Laura was an invaluable asset to me, from June 2024 to June 2025. I came from a very niche music industry background. Saying I’m a non-traditional candidate would be an understatement. That’s why I chose Laura! And, with an undergrad GPA of ~2.8, a sinister case of ADHD, a weak quant background, and applying on the heels of a gap year, the hurdles I faced in my MBA application process were significant.

Her strategic expertise was critical in navigating the GMAT/GRE wormhole, ADHD accommodations, and school selection. BUT, where Laura proved most valuable was helping me understand that the things I saw as application *deficits* were in fact, application *distinctions*. I saw things like my age, career background, undergrad institution, etc as negatives… but Laura lead me to the promised land of perceiving those things as the very reasons why a program should accept me. And perception is reality!

Beyond core application aspects, Laura supported me throughout the entire admissions cycle, transforming my resume to properly highlight my niche work experience in a way that would make sense to AdComs, offering guidance on communications, recommenders & rec packets, and even a crucial last minute pivot to the Haas EWMBA program. Her responsiveness, empathy, and ability to fit my square peg story into the round holes of the MBA application process, make her an exceptional partner for a non-traditional candidate like myself, and hopefully you too!

I found Laura through her TikTok page when I was looking for tips on applying to MBA programs. I first came across her video detailing how to answer “What about our program interests you?” where Laura was incredibly transparent stating, “All top B-schools are pretty similar, so unless you have some touching backstory or connection, focus more on the faculty you want to meet and discuss points of their research.” This was enough for me to scroll through her entire page and eventually search for an email to reach out. I immediately started working with her and asked how to apply in the 2025 cycle. She was so encouraging saying, “There are options for you right now in 2024 if you’re interested. Let’s be strategic on which schools we pick.” For me, she recommended two specific schools and I ended up applying to only one and that is where I attend currently. I was one-for-one with Laura and I think that is a testament to her ability to personalize her strategy to aspirants SO WELL that I have a 100% success rate with her even shooting for just a singular school. Cannot recommend her enough!
