Manette Wete is the founder of uniqMBA Admissions Consulting, a boutique admissions consulting firm that provides differentiated services to help highlight the uniqueness of candidates seeking admission into top ranked MBA programs. For nearly a decade, Manette worked for a large wireless communications company, rising to senior management where she led several technology-driven transformations and change management initiatives.

Determined to channel her extensive corporate experience into a consulting career where she could help individuals achieve their goals, it wasn’t long before Manette began working independently as a career coach and business consultant. This self-starter attitude and intellectual curiosity led her to pursue an MBA from Chicago Booth, where she participated in various admissions related activities and received a Dean’s Annual Ambassador Award for her outstanding contributions. Manette combines her natural strength in guiding people through change/transitions with her passion for working with prospective students to deliver services her clients often rave about.

In her spare time, Manette enjoys swimming, sightseeing, reading journals on behavioral economics and organizational psychology and volunteering as a coach and mentor.  Her secret to success lies in her ability to challenge assumptions, and recognize small wins before celebrating big victories.

Manette holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a Certified Project Management Professional – a skill that often comes in handy while working with clients to help strategically plan, structure and execute their admissions plans on time and within scope.
