Hi, it’s Nisha from mbaMission! I really admire the impact you’ve had on your family business but one thing I’m not sure about: Is this your primary job, or something you’re involved with on the side? This would shape my evaluation of your profile (since extracurricular/outside involvement strengthens it). Your GMAT is strong, and helps offset your slightly low GPA. What you want to make sure the admissions committee understands: what drives your desire to join a PE firm after busines school based on the experiences you’ve had to date. In addition to making this clear, communicate how each target program will help you attain these goals through their resources within and outside the classroom. Hope that helps a bit!

Hello Mr Banking to PE, I’m Lisa Cummings of Stratus Admissions. I am intrigued by your career path and that Big Life Win. You will want to flesh out your experience for your schools. What about any leadership positions you may have assumed? The Extracurricular section is blank here, you should fill your schools in and tell them about any community …

The Extracurricular section is blank here, you should fill your schools in and tell them about any community groups, organizations or teams you are involved with beyond the workplace. Your GMAT will be a bit above average for Wharton but your GPA is a little low so I put your odds at about 10%. Best of luck!
