Hi, it’s Jennifer Jackson from Stratus Admissions. You have fantastic global experience that Said (and all schools) will love! Your GPA is great and your GMAT, while under the average, I don’t think is a deal-breaker because you’re coming from Africa, where schools want more representation from strong candidates. That said, it wouldn’t hurt to try the test again, if even to show that you made another attempt. One question I have is are you also considering alternative programs like PT or executive programs? It looks like you’ve been out of undergrad 10 years or so, which is well over a FT program’s average, but I’m only seeing a couple jobs listed. FT programs are not out of the question but investigate which ones might …

I don’t see any extracurriculars listed but if you do have any leadership roles outside of work it would be good to highlight those. To address Why MBA Why Now, make sure to explain why you want to move from sales to strategy and what skills you need to gain in an MBA program to be successful in that ST goal.
