Hi Mr. Healthcare Geek, Thanks for posting your profile. This is Debbie Choy, Senior Consultant at mbaMission. Hi Mr. Healthcare Geek, Thanks for posting your profile. This is Debbie Choy, Senior Consultant at mbaMission. I am impressed by your career growth from leading client engagements after only a few months of joining the firm to now a Senior PM for New Business Ventures. I also like that you actively give back to your community through your involvement with ShelterTech and other organizations. That said, I think your GMAT score could be an area of concern for Yale, where the average GMAT score is around 720. If retaking it is not an option, I suggest looking into whether the GRE is a better test for you. Some candidates do better on the GRE. Otherwise, you might consider building an “alternative transcript” by taking some graded online Quant courses that can help alleviate any potential concerns about your academic capabilities. My estimate of your odds are based on your current test score but if you increase it, your chances will also improve. I’m happy to discuss other specific questions about your profile in a 1:1 consult. Wishing you the best in your MBA journey!
