Hello Mr. National Table Tennis, I’m Lisa Cummings of Stratus Consulting. I have a question upfront- your profile, shows a 4 GPA. If that is on the 10 point scale that Thapar University uses, you be well below the average for the schools on your list and it will be difficult for adcomms to overcome that GPA. So, I am assuming you have converted your GPA over to a 4.0 scale. As such, your stats will be about in line for your schools. To give you a more accurate rating, I would need to know more about your work history and wins. I like that you have made some process improvements which also led to add on business …

So, I am assuming you have converted your GPA over to a 4.0 scale. As such, your stats will be about in line for your schools. To give you a more accurate rating, I would need to know more about your work history and wins. I like that you have made some process improvements which also led to add on business from your clients. You’ll want to flesh out more details on what those changes were and how you were able to implement them. To be able to fully answer the Why MBA question, you will want to give schools more specifics on your goals. Make the connection for them between where you are now and where you want to be post degree – show them that an MBA from their school will give you the tools you need to reach your dream job. Also what do you like to do outside of work. Toastmasters is a great organization and the fact that you held a leadership position in the group will be additive. When was this? Had you identified public speaking as a weakness or did you just want to improve your skills? Are you still involved? Schools also like to see mentoring and community work so be sure to draw those out if you ave them. Good luck.
