Candidate:

Mr. Oil & Gas

About Me:

After working in a major oil company for 3 years as a reservoir engineer, I still felt unfulfilled. Although I was classified as a “high flier” (put myself on a lot of projects, built new tools, was the first to be offered new opportunities), I still felt like I was just a number. I joined a banking role and love it but I want to take the next step!

Post MBA Goal:

I fell in love with investment banking but not the technical work. I want to work for a megafund and am happy to pivot from or stay in energy. Right now, my only options are to go to a well-known bank or a smaller PE shop but I would still only be doing technical work.
