Fisher College of Business offers a top-ranked MBA with a focus on coaching, personalization, and experiential learning for students. “I think one of the best things about our MBA program is that you get the best of both worlds,” says Chris Adams, Ohio State communications and marketing senior analyst. “It is a tight-knit small program, supported by one of the largest universities in the country. The personalized attention to each student’s career goals through on-site career management such as coaching, professional development, assessments, etc is something we’re also extremely proud of. Ohio State has deep connections to Columbus, the 14th largest city, and serves as yet another reason we develop so many promising business leaders. “It’s a culture and proud alumni network like no other.” Founded in 1933, Fisher College offers a two-year, full-time MBA with cohorts of around 65 students. To apply, students can expect to submit GMAT/GRE scores, a personal statement, and a pre-recorded video interview among other materials. The degree is composed of 60 credit hours of personalized and flexible courses, designed to be immersive and impactful. Year one consists primarily of core courses, and year two is primarily electives, where students have the opportunity to choose different pathways. Examples of pathways include Consulting & Project Management, Leadership, and Social Impact. Students also have the option to pursue the STEM MBA, which offers more career opportunities and technical skill development. Students are invited to participate in experiential learning opportunities such as the Business Lab Project, where they learn to lead real-world projects within an organization, the Social Impact Challenge, Max Problem Solving, Global Business Expeditions and Global Applied Projects, where students work abroad in teams to apply, integrate, and focus skills that address an organization’s global business challenge or opportunity.
