Their program offers a personalized experience with a technology focus, and students are supported throughout their time at the school with a wide network of professionals. The program is in the heart of Athens, with a stunning view of the Acropolis, across from the Pedion Areos Park. The central location means many company visits around Athens, like recent visits to ELTA the Hellenic Post Company, PepsiCo, the Athens Stock Exchange, COSCO, Piraeus, and many more. Though taught in Greece, the MBA International is offered exclusively in English. The main goal of the MBA International at AUEB is to help students to succeed in specialized positions within the job market. The curriculum is designed very intentionally, with modern techniques and skills for graduates to succeed in today’s global, complex, competitive, and technologically advanced environment. “AUEB’s MBA International Program attracts students with exceptionally high competence levels, dynamic personalities, and solid motivation. They take on the challenges of a very intense and demanding curriculum with enthusiasm, curiosity, persistent effort, and continuing commitment. Year after year we experience their unwavering trust that the Program is capable of meeting their high expectations and aspirations. Our highest motivator for continuous improvement is our pleasure in seeing them develop and thrive in our collective culture of coaching and curation in their learning journeys, and in the careers ahead of them,” says Dr. Angeliki Poylymenakou, Dean of the School of Business and Professor of Information Systems. The program welcomed 66 students in their most recent intake – for a total of 185 in the program. Since its foundation, the MBA International has graduated students from more than 30 countries. The MBA is offered in two formats, either full-time – 16 months, with daytime and evening classes, or part-time – 27 months, with evening classes only. The curriculum is rich, innovative, and constantly evolving. Each year, the content and structure undergo evaluation through student evaluations, satisfaction surveys for graduates and recruiters, and insights from the annual Business Advisor Council Meeting, and adjustments are made as needed. Recently, the Personal Skills Development course was redesigned to follow a case-based approach, and a new elective on AI was introduced based on high demand. Faculty closely collaborate with each other and share best practices, continuously integrating their research findings and practical concepts from consulting and project work teaching the MBA students. The MBA International offers 5 concentrations in Finance, Marketing & Strategy, International Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Technology, Logistics, & Operations. The capstone for the full-time program is the Immersion Project, which can either be a Field Study Project, an entrepreneurial project, or a business internship where students have the chance to immerse themselves in a real business environment for three months. Part-time students partake in an Integrated Impact Project (IIP) where in teams of 3-5, they put all they have learned to test together to analyze a business-related issue for a real company. Aside from the required curriculum, AUEB has plenty of other events and programs for students to get involved in. They have the Annual Sustainability Summit, networking nights, and conferences like EcoMobility, workshops, seminars, study trips, competitions, and more. “My favorite part of the MBA International of AUEB? It’s like stepping into a vibrant global family. Making new friends from around the world, and immersing oneself in a different culture – it’s been a journey that went beyond academics. The close bond with program faculty, leadership, and staff creates an inclusive atmosphere, and feeling connected to professors for guidance and knowledge sharing is priceless. It’s not just a degree; it’s a life-changing experience,” says MBA Larry Mclean Díaz Ardila.
